The Lucky Legendary Holiday Party!

I spent a festive evening with the folks from Lucky Legendary as they played "Truth or Dare" Jenga, slow-danced with vacuum cleaners, stripped of articles of clothing and had a rowdy good time. Not only do these guys make funny videos, they are super funny in real life.

Annual "Toy Box" Benefit Block Party

This year's annual Toy Box benefit was held as a block party on Larabee between East|West and Club Eleven which made it more festive than ever. It was the combination of the fake snow, the huge pile of toys, the snowman and Hunky Santa. I made the rounds with my pal Matheu Brooks from Frontiers and IN Magazine.

Aside from amassing a huge pile of toys for the kids, Toy Box is one of the best ways to catch up with folks during this busy time of year, and I finally ran into friends like Kevin Casares, Woody Woodbeck and Wayne Fastow.

Saturday Night with Shawn Antonio at Vanguard

My friend Shawn Antonio promotes Saturday Nights at Vanguard. I stopped by to check it out because I'm planning to celebrate my birthday there in January. Shawn and I see each other ever week for lunch with friends, but rarely out at night. That's ironic since we are both "nightlife people." Vanguard turned out to be super-fun so I'm excited!

Frank & Jonny's Campfire Christmas Party

At designers Frank Helmer and Jonny Cota's "Campfire Christmas Party," the East Side crowd gathered to toast marshmallows and sip on cider. I met Joshua Grannell (aka Peaches Christ) who was in town casting a his next film with my old pal (from high school) Darren Stein, pictured here with Darrin Noble.

FUN: Franny & Manny Boggie Down!

Why don't we lighten the mood with a video clip of me and my pal Francesca gettin' down! Actually these are our alter egos, "Franny & Manny." This was inspired Rebecca from Hebrew School Dropout home of The Jew Fro Bro:

While enjoying a staged concert of "Les Miserables," Abbie, Brian and I bond over our love for Eponine and conclude that she stands out as the fan-favorite amongst the gays. The reaction of the audience at The Hollywood Bowl to Lea Michele's performance confirms this.

After the performance, Abbie, Heather and I go dancing at Akbar. Heather's favorite is Cosette, and we love her anyway!

Venice Beach Penthouse Jazz Party

It's a magical night up at the Venice Beach Penthouse. My friend Thais and I have come for a "closing party" thrown by owner Brad Neal. I met Brad and his wife Shannon on the train back from San Diego, and they are the most awesome hosts!

We can view the gorgeous beach and boardwalk below right through the glass balcony. The warmth of the fire-pit perfectly balances the chill of the breeze coming off the ocean. The Plant Man arrives and has brought an eclectic circle of friends to add to the already-present collection of fine folk and free spirits. And to top it all off, the band is no-kidding, off-the-hook amazing!

Cher Rue's Birthday at Club Eleven

I'm at the birthday party for the fabulous Cher Rue, a co-founder for Hollywood Cure for the Pain, at Club Eleven. Here's Cher having a great time with friends including Jovy Janolo and his new BFF, Kayley Gable, as well as Daniel DiCriscio, singers Fawn and Amanda Abizaid and one of my favorite folks, designer Keoki Tavares.

"Mamma Mia" Release Party in WeHo

At the "Mamma Mia!" release party, I meet the wonderful folks from WowVowNow who have paired up with Mizrahi Diamonds to give us a new line of engagement and wedding rings. That's Christopher Nicholson the ring designer showing off the goods with friends.

On a non-marriage related note, Nick Verreos delights in showing off that overseas hookers are wearing Andrew Christian underwear in their ads. It would make a great guerilla marketing campaign! (Please note that Nick took the time to wear a Greek themed costume.)

Every time I go to a movie release party at Here, I come away with a new BFF, and this time it is Angelica Limcaco from Mizrahi Diamonds. Her equally hot sister, Vanessa, was there too. And I must give a shout out to Nelson Melegrito and DIVA for everything they do!

Riot on Melrose Grand Opening Party

My pal Keoki Tavares is an awesome designer, and at his grand opening party I run into all the fun people in LA. Well at least some that I know. There's Keoki with paragon of style, Bobby Trendy. Onch Movement shows off shows us how to accessorize with black jewelry and cute guys. Janice and Sean from ABC News cozy up to Fabrice and Matt from Gaywired.com and Pink Banana Media. And the luscious Dirty Diana drops in.

The evening gown section is hugely popular. Here we see Miguel Angel Reyes outfitting his latest muse. Harry Grant and his date win the prize for the most elegant pair at the event. Keoki glams up the red carpet with Alexis Arquette. Daniel DiCriscio and Hector Monserratte are the new men in black.
